NACE Detroit – Table Top Wow!
What is NACE, you ask? It’s the National Association of Catering Executives. It’s a great place for anyone in the event business, from caterers to videographers (hence why I’m a proud member of the Detroit chapter). Each month, NACE holds a meeting – which is actually more of a really fun party – where members and guests can network and learn something new about what’s going on in the world of events and weddings. It’s pretty awesome actually.
In April, the meeting turns into a competition. Vendors can enter into a contest to see who can design the best event table. Hence, the name, “Table Top Wow!”. It was such a fun event, filled with creativity. We were there to capture it all. It takes a lot of work to decorate a hall by the way… We watched an empty ballroom transform into a warm and colorful party room filled with beautiful – and edible – displays of pure genius.
