Heather + Jay’s Wedding Trailer

0
Oh how we love, love! It’s the best thing on Earth, really. And marriage is a celebration of that feeling – announcing to one and all that you have a partner in crime for life, taking on all of life’s challenges and celebrating all of the joys that life can bring. Weddings are a milestone for a reason. It’s the one day in your life where all of your friends, family, co-workers and favorite people on the planet are all together, surrounding you in celebration of, well, you.

At Zara Creative, we know that we have a pretty special job, because we are given an all-access pass to witness all of the incredible emotion and happiness that takes place throughout the entire day. In the words of my dear friend Lindsay Simms Tamachaski (also in the wedding business – she’s an event coordinator at The Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township) your wedding day is, “the best day of your life!”

I agree with her. I mean I don’t know the feeling for myself just yet, but I’ve been to enough weddings and talked with enough couples to know just how amazing the day is.

That’s one of the reasons why my business partner Jason and I love our jobs. When we cover a wedding, we are there on the happiest day of two people’s lives. It’s beautiful, inspirational and just plain fun!

We had the pleasure of shooting Heather and Jay’s wedding on March 3, 2012 at Mirage in Clinton Township. They were a fairly last minute booking – and we couldn’t be happier that they decided to let us be there for their wedding. They are warm, fun and absolutely with out a doubt crazy about each other – and I love the story about how they knew each other before they were a couple.

Heather and Jay graduated from the same high school – but Heather graduated six years after Jay. Heather told me that Jay was THE hottest guy in school and she had a major crush (along with every other girl) on the older man on campus. She even admitted to doodling his name in her notebook along with various combinations of her name next to his last name. Little did she know, she’d end up signing Heather Sommers one day.

Don’t you love that?

Heather is a blast and I fell in love with her bubbly personality from the moment we met. She’s energetic, fun and cute as can be… so it isn’t hard to see why she caught Jay’s eye.

Here is the wedding trailer that we put together for the awesome mister and misses. A trailer is a 1-2 minute feature that we produce about a week or two after the wedding. It gives you a feel for what the entire day was like and serves as an early glimpse of the rest of the video highlights to come. Just like movies use trailers to get you excited for the actual release of the film. Same thing.

Heather and Jay, we wish you a lifetime of health, wealth and happiness. Thanks so much for including us in your day.

Enjoy and stay tuned for their Highlight Video!
